WINNIPEG – police in Winnipeg reported that the presence of a black bear in the upscale neighborhood of Charlewood.
Police located the animal have urged the public to avoid the area, reported Saturday on Global News.
“We want to ensure that everyone is safe,” said agent Rob Carver, who had warned against the danger of moving closer to the animal.
In the early evening, the bear was stuck at the top of a tree, according to Conservation Manitoba.
The conservation officers had to carry the bear in a place not disclosed.
