Wishes to Biterrois entrepreneurs: “The old world is Montpellier, the future is Béziers”
This Tuesday evening, in the superb setting of the new Jean-Moulin space, at the André-Malraux media library in Béziers, Robert Ménard, the president of Pulse, took part in the exercise, in front of numerous entrepreneurs, partners, elected officials or even the president of the CCI of Hérault, André Deljarry. Not without having a word, beforehand, of "friendship, solidarity and compassion" for winegrowers in crisis.
"We will welcome thousands of jobs"
Concerning Pulse, Robert Ménard recalled the need for this instrument to work on the development of "the province" via industry and especially energy. "It can't be reduced to Genvia, it’is everyone’s business…" And to underline the potential within reach of the territory: " ;The old world is Montpellier. The future is Béziers. We have everything here to succeed." A few minutes earlier, Cédric Botella, boss of Instadrone and vice-president of Pulse, had specified these assets: "the sun, the wind, sea." The perfect breeding ground for developing the energy sector. "We will welcome thousands of jobs. It’s our chance, it’s our turn, we have the land, the quality of life. We need housing, transport, training,” continued Robert Ménard, calling on everyone to join Pulse “to help us imagine the future.” Don't miss this turning point."
On the Palais des congrès project…
The moment was perfect to discuss a project for the future: the transformation of the Palais des congrès de Béziers which should accommodate, among other things, the Innovosud business incubator with a laboratory for training. The project from the Montpellier company Redman won over the City. The latter will sell the building as part of this program which also includes a restaurant, a conference room, around fifteen villas in wooden structures on the roof.
