On the 6 km course, in the alleys of downtown Alès, the runners enjoyed many musical stops and gave free rein to their imagination for the outfits.
“We didn't expect such a success, sighs Valérie Gayraud. We had 1,000 registered for the 6 km Run des Guerrières race but we had some last-minute competitors. In total there were 1,600 runners on the starting line."
Through the streets of downtown Alès, the runners took advantage of musical entertainment and the generally good atmosphere to reach the Place des Martyrs via the arenas, the Passage Saint-Vincent and the crossing of the Caveau's death stairs!
Even if the ranking is only secondary in this event where it is rather solidarity that is put forward, it should be noted that in the inter-company challenge, it is the Cévennes formation Alès establishment which has established itself.
