A more powerful ChatGPT

At the conference on Monday May 13, OpenAi presented ChatGPT-4o. This is a new version of its generative artificial intelligence which will be deployed to everyone in the coming weeks. "We are really excited to bring GPT-4o to all our free users" introduced CTO Mira Murati. The American company promises a more efficient model than its predecessors.

As reported by BFM TV, real-time conversations were revealed as the great innovation. Users will be able to ask what they want from the new tool, with a very fast response time. AI can even tell a story or a joke, like a human being. The translation system has also been revisited to decode a live conversation. For the moment, only paying users can take advantage of these new features.

Google reacts

In California, Google also presented its artificial intelligence project during the annual conference "Google I/O ", which was held this Tuesday, May 14. Based on Gemini's AI, the program is called Astra. It presents itself as an intelligent assistant and is already positioning itself as the competitor of the new ChatGPT, only 24 hours later.

A video during this presentation shows all the capabilities of the new tool, specifies Le Parisien. The virtual assistant can memorize the environment around the user, and can find lost objects. It can also describe an image or solve computer problems. All actions are executed with astonishing responsiveness. We do not yet know the release date of the new project. To keep people waiting, Google has unveiled other new AI-powered features such as an image and video generator.
