With the “Take the Air” program, the CPIE of the Thau basin opens the door to a summer of discovery of the territory

Les animateurs des associations membres du réseau CPIE bassin de Thau, en partenariat avec les acteurs locaux, proposent tout l’été des animations à la découverte du bassin de Thau et du pays Agathois.

It’s a journey through the varied landscapes of our region that the CPIE du Bassin de Thau offers all summer long. More than a hundred activities deployed in 24 municipalities, for all tastes and all ages, in order to raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of our ecosystems , but also to discover the human heritage and know-how of the territory. A dive into the world of exciting professions, told by producers, as close as possible to local products which will also be an opportunity to take another look at the issues inherent to our region such as water management or climate change.

Feet in the water

Thanks to the professionals of the CPIE network, it will be possible, with your feet in the water or on the water, to explore the biodiversity of the sea and the coast. Nature lovers will also be able to learn more about terrestrial fauna and flora, as well as local know-how from passionate professionals.

Finally, night outings intended to raise visitors' awareness of the importance of areas of darkness will also be organized. An outdoor summer, rich in discoveries and emotions made possible thanks to the "Take the air" set up by the members of the CPIE: ADENA – Bagnas Nature Reserve, LPO Occitanie, Kimiyo, Prud’homie Étang de Thau and d’Ingril, Compagnie de l’Empreinte, Cosciences, La Clé des Arts, CIVAM Racines 34 and Cap au wide.
