Women's hockey: Dream Gap tour will stop in Verdun

Women's hockey will once again be in the spotlight at the Verdun Auditorium, on October 15 and 16, when the first leg of the Dream Gap tour will be presented there. < /p>

This initiative, which aims to promote hockey among young girls, was created by the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA).

“It is with pleasure that we are returning to Verdun, the home of women's hockey, where the focus is on growing the game,” Quebec goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens, Olympic gold medalist, said in a statement.

The event will feature four different teams, each playing two games. Remember that the Verdun Auditorium is home to Center 21.02, where players from the PWHPA in the Montreal region have been training for three years.
