The Montreal Force ended a three-game losing streak by beating the Toronto Six 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in the Queen City.

In front of the Belle Province goal, Tricia Deguire fended off 39 shots from her rivals, including 22 in the second period. The goalkeeper thus signed her first career shutout in the Premier Hockey Federation.

La Force took the lead in the second period. Alexandra Labelle hit the bull's eye solo. It was the Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague forward's sixth success in 2022-2023.

Sarah Lefort confirmed the Montrealers' victory by hitting the target in the final minutes of the third period. This achievement was recorded as a power play. Labelle also obtained an assist on this insurance goal. Ann-Sophie Bettez completed the scoring in an empty net.

Elaine Chuli, the crowd favorite goaltender, faced 30 shots in the loss.

La Force and the Six will meet again this Sunday in Toronto. This will be the second duel in a series of four on opposing rinks.
