This Wednesday, a delegation from the U13 group presented a check and food to the structure. The opportunity for these young athletes to discover the Mas and its reason for being.

This Wednesday, September 18, at noon, five young FCBP footballers, accompanied by their sports instructor Lilian Guenot, ate at the solidarity restaurant of the Maison des alternatives solidaires in Bagnols-sur-Cèze.
Indeed, the FCBP made a donation to the association. Sixteen footballers from the U13 group of FC Bagnols-Pont had taken a preparation and cohesion course in Coucouron (Ardèche) in August. A three-day course that was very positive on both a sporting and human level. At the end of the course, there were still some food items (bricks of milk, compotes, fruit juices, and others) as well as a surplus on the forecast budget of 100.79 euros. The club decided to donate these foodstuffs and this sum to the Maison des alternatives solidaires. "It's always welcome" thanked Éric Charray, the president of the Mas.

"Mixing people"   

This gesture of generosity and solidarity was an opportunity for Lorenzo, Thomas, Elian, Joaquim, Aron and Lilian Guenot to discover the solidarity structure. "Here, the goal is to mix people, to be connected, Éric Charray explained to them. There are people in difficulty to whom we provide support. And everyone is welcome. You can come back to eat whenever you want with your parents." The young footballers then sat down with the users and volunteers. After the meal, a tour of the premises was planned with explanations of everything that happens in this place (solidarity grocery store, various workshops, one-off events, etc.), “a moment of discussion on its operation and its purpose”.
