Young Ukrainians training for the Montreal Canadiens

UPDATE DAY

It was a memorable morning for the members of the Ukrainian hockey team who attended the Canadiens practice. I had a touching moment with the head coach when he showed me a video of one of the kids' fathers. In the middle of the Ukrainian battlefield, together with colleagues from the army, he wishes good luck to the young people at the Tournoi pee-wee de Québec.

Canadians coach Martin St-Louis joined in the Ukraine team photo. 

< p>Before going to the parking lot located near the players' locker room, Kaiden Guhle signed several youth jerseys.   

After the training, Jonathan Drouin met the young hockey players. 

Martin St-Louis was surrounded by coaches from the Ukraine team and three players whose fathers are soldiers in Ukraine.

At the morning practice, the young people were surprised and happy to see that the Canadian had done some maneuvers from their training.

Canadian captain Nick Suzuki was very popular with the youngsters.  

Rafaël Harvey-Pinard congratulated the youngster, and when he met the head coach, he pointed out to him that he had watched their first game on TV.  

The je some players have all received a t-shirt with the Canadian logo in the colors of Ukraine.
