SAN FRANCISCO | YouTube has deleted the channels supremacist for having violated “repeatedly” its rules, stating, for example, that certain groups of people were inferior to others, said on Monday the platform of videos from Google.

The death at the end of may of George Floyd, an African-American killed by a white policeman has sparked a huge movement against systemic racism, which is forcing institutions and companies, which would otherwise be accused of complicity and of laissez-faire, to review their actions.
Social networks, them, are, more than ever, blame a too high degree of tolerance vis-à-vis content that promotes hatred or violence against minorities.
YouTube has, however, reminded that the fight against the content supremacist had been started a year ago.
The platform was then decided to ban “any video claiming that one group was superior in order to justify discrimination, segregation, or exclusion, based on attributes such as age, gender, ethnicity, caste, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status”.
In the case of an offence, and by way of warning, the service of streaming may withdraw certain privileges to the hosts of channels, such as the ability to monetize their content.
On Monday, YouTube has banned the channels of American Renaissance (and AmRenPodcasts), NIC/RADIX (and rpspencer, Richard Spencer, a militant neo-nazi), Stefan Molyneux and David Duke, known for having headed up the Ku Klux Klan.
