The Nashville Predators traded Montreal forward Zachary L'Heureux to his junior hockey team, the Halifax Mooseheads, on Thursday.
As a result, the Tennessee roster has reduced its roster in training camp to 52 skaters, including 30 forwards.
Having been selected 27th overall in the 2021 National League Draft, the 19-year-old athlete years old did not participate in the first two exhibition meetings of the “Preds”.
Last season, L'Heureux totaled 22 goals and 34 assists for 56 points in 46 games with his club of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The Mooseheads' next game is scheduled for Saturday against the Cape Breton Eagles.
