13-year-old schoolgirl faints in PE class: she dies a few hours after the session

The session turns to tragedy

According to our colleagues, the class attached to the private Saint-Jean college was having a canoeing session on the banks of the Vienne that day. During the session, the young girl in 4th grade fell ill.

The firefighters, quickly notified, noted on arriving on the scene the deterioration of the vital prognosis of the teenager. Taken to hospital, the victim could not be resuscitated and was declared dead a few hours later at the Limoges University Hospital.

Psychological help

According to the initial information gathered by our colleagues, it is not the activity or the course of the session that is at fault, but rather the health problems of the teenager.
