The 6 Nations Tournament opens this Friday, February 2 at 9 p.m. at the Vélodrome stadium with a poster: France – Ireland.
Three and a half months after the disappointment against South Africa in the quarter-final of "sa" World Cup, the French XV returns to the competition with a shock to open the 2024 6 Nations Tournament against Ireland. The Irish, also bitter after their elimination in the quarterfinals of the World Cup, are moving forward with revenge and motivated by the idea of winning the European event this year.
Fabien Galthié and his staff had to put together a team without its playing master, Antoine Dupont, who decided to join the French rugby team 7 in view of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
