The statistic is barely credible: Rodez will return to his favorite lair of Paul-Lignon in the Coupe de France after more than seven years of absence.

Indeed, the last time that the Ruthenois received their host was in November 2016 against FC Mtsapéré, a club from Mayotte. A space-time during which the Aveyron club had to travel 25 times consecutively, which nevertheless did not prevent it from being a quarter-finalist of the 2019 World Cup. event last season (beaten by Toulouse). 

Monaco revanchard

Since then, 2625 days have passed before repairing this "anomaly" of the draw. This Saturday afternoon, in the round of 16, the RAF will host AS Monaco, a big caliber. 

Monegasques who will be revengeful against an opponent who eliminated them last season, by winning against Louis-II in the 32nd final (2-2, tab 4-5 ).

For the occasion, Rodez will be deprived of two defenders since Bradley Danger is suspended and Joris Chougrani injured. Goalkeeper Lionel Mpasi is at the CAN. Nothing to spoil the expected party at home.
