American presidential election: Donald Trump imitates Emmanuel Macron in the middle of a meeting and makes fun of him

While Donald Trump was giving a meeting in Iowa, he took the opportunity to return to a telephone conversation he had with Emmanuel Macron. He then launched into an imitation of the French president, in a mocking tone.

Donald Trump is Donald Trump. In the middle of a meeting in Iowa on Saturday January 6, the former president of the United States took the opportunity to make fun of Emmanuel Macron. 

"Macron, you know Macron ? He’s a very nice guy, really very nice", Trump told his audience.

He then reveals the content of a conversation between him and the French president, about a 25% tax that Paris would have liked to impose on American companies that had business in France.

Donald Trump explains that he said: “I heard that you were going to charge American companies 25 % to do business in Mexico.& ;nbsp;I said "No, no, but you’re not going to do that Emmanuel”, explains the former president. But Emmanuel Macron would then have replied: "No, no, Donald, it has already happened."

"It’was so easy"

The businessman then issued the threats:  "Well you better cancel it because If you do not cancel it, you will pay 100% customs duties on all wines and champagnes shipped to the United States starting tonight.

Emmanuel Macron would then have panicked and replied "No, no, no ! You can't do that Donald, you can't do that!"

"I can do it. I am in the process of signing at this very moment" claims to have responded Donald Trump. "No, no, no! OK, Donald, listen, we're not going to do it,” Emmanuel Macron would have declared. Trump then concluded in front of his audience:  "End of story. It’was so easy."
