The 19-year-old man was indicted for "rape committed on a 15-year-old minor by an adult with an age difference of at least 5 years", and placed in pre-trial detention, said prosecutor Loïc Abrial, reports BFMTV RMC.

An adult and a schoolgirl indicted

Another young adult and a schoolgirl friend of the victim were indicted for failure to prevent this crime. None has a criminal record. Shanon's funeral will take place this Tuesday, April 9 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cauffry church, announced the mayor of the town Virginie Garnier on Facebook, specifying that the ceremony would be reserved for relatives and students of his college.
