Le Troquet de la famille Rath, a restaurant just opposite Alès station, has bowed out

Until now run, in part, by chef Sébastien Rath and his partner, the restaurant has ceased all activity for several days.
The posters have been plastered on the restaurant window for several days. Located just opposite Alès train station, Le Troquet, restaurant adjoining the former Riche by chef Sébastien Rath, has permanently closed its doors.

The business, also partly owned by Sébastien and his partner Gwladys Rath, is sold to the highest bidder with a takeover project. Since last May, the gourmet chef and his team have relaunched the former restaurant of chef Alain Reymond, Le Saint-Hilaire, in Saint- Hilaire-de-Brethmas. After several months of reflection and discussion with their partner at Le Troquet, the decision was made to definitively separate from the business to concentrate solely on their main restaurant.
