Chloé Ridel, newly elected MEP, appeals to voters and supports the candidates of the New Popular Front.
For Gardoise Chloé Ridel, recently elected European deputy alongside the left-wing list led by Raphaël Glucksmann, the time is serious and for unity. "I give all my support to the candidates of the New Popular Front", says Chloé Ridel who bitterly regrets that this campaign"talks very little about the program and focuses on small phrases and personalities".
"You have to watch the programs"
Advocating proposals on "the indexation of salaries to inflation" or the "blocking of prices of basic necessities" like diesel, the European elected official from Gard pushes the program of the national gathering "unrealistic" : "We have seen what the reduction in VAT has done for restaurateurs proposed by Sarkozy in 2009: restaurateurs increased their margins but that never benefited customers. One VAT point represents 7 billion euros in revenue. We will therefore be heading towards a colossal loss of public finances for no gain for consumers."
Thus, for Chloé Ridel, "if the Gardois are interested in the defense of purchasing power, in the financing of public services, it’s on the side of New popular front that they must watch. Go check out the programs!”, concludes Chloé Ridel who assures her: "If the New Popular Front is elected, Jean-Luc Mélenchon will not will ever be Prime Minister."
