Start of the Tour de France 2024: the race will cross Hérault during the 16th stage, discover the route in the department

Le Tour de France 2024 débute ce samedi 29 juin de Florence. Pour cette édition, il traversera l'Herault lors de la 16e étape le 16 juillet.

In this Olympic year, the Tour de France 2024 begins this Saturday June 29 from Italy and more precisely from Florence. It will end on July 21 in Nice. It is during the 16th stage linking Gruissan to Nîmes that it will cross the department of Herault. 

From Lespignan to Sommières

Indeed, for its 111th edition, the biggest race in the world will enter the department from the south and Lespignan before passing through the center of Béziers. The Tour de France will head north, towards Gignac and Aniane before turning east.

To enjoy the grandiose landscapes of northern Hérault, head towards Saint-Martin de Londres or Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréveils. Finally it will end up crossing the Vidourle at Sommières and joining the Gard.
