Samedi 13 juillet, 46 élèves de l’institut de formation aux métiers de la santé de Bagnols-sur-Cèze ont reçu leur diplôme. Ces nouveaux infirmiers vont travailler dans des hôpitaux locaux ou plus éloignés.

Saturday July 13, it was with undisguised emotion that Jean-Philippe Sajus, director of the Bagnols-sur-Cèze hospital center, presented the state nursing diplomas to the 46 students of the city’s health professions training institute. This 46th promotion of the IFMS school, formerly IFSI, is the first post-Covid.

Nurses will join the hospital of Bagnols, Pont-Saint-Esprit or Polynesia

If among the new nurses, ten have already joined the teams at the Bagnols hospital, the others will fill the ranks of the neighboring establishments of Pont-Saint-Esprit, Uzès, Vaison-la-Romaine , Alès, Nîmes or Avignon. "One of the challenges of the IFMS is to position itself as a training organization for the region's employment pool&quot ;, explains Danièle Payan, care director. Others will also represent the Bagnolese training in more distant regions such as Pau, the Necker hospital in Paris or Polynesia.

Note that three students from the training are continuing their training in Marseille for the childcare specialization. To close the ceremony, Jean-Philippe Sajus offered a young olive tree symbol of roots, fertility and success to each of the new graduates.
