This Saturday, July 13, two tourists from the United Arab Emirates had their suitcases stolen at Nice Côte d’Azur airport. These contained luxurious items worth a million euros.

This weekend, two Emirati tourists aged 26 and 33 were victims of a theft at Nice Côte d’Azur airport.

A value of one million euros

Three Louis Vuitton bags, filled with items from major luxury brands, have disappeared. Around one million euros worth of goods were in these suitcases, according to Ouest France.

The two passengers were supposed to take their plane towards Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Arriving at the airport, they paid porters to transport their luggage.

An investigation in progress

It was only when boarding that the two women discovered the absence of their three suitcases which were filled with clothes and watches and jewelry. An investigation has been opened.
