The Hérault firefighters intervened this Monday, August 5, in the Hérault Valley, to rescue a 48-year-old man injured after jumping into the river.
The Hazardous Environment Intervention Group mobilized
The victim's head hit a rock after jumping from a height of three meters, in an area located in the commune of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. His evacuation required the involvement of the GMP, the hazardous environment intervention group, as well as nautical rescue services to take him to the bank.
