Three injured in head-on collision in La Calmette

The three people were transported to the Nîmes University Hospital.

A person had to be freed after a head-on collision between two vehicles in La Calmette.

The firefighters intervened this Saturday, August 10, early in the afternoon, for an accident involving two cars in a head-on collision, on the D936, in La Calmette.

In the first vehicle, there was a 26-year-old young man. Slightly injured, he was transported to the Carémeau University Hospital in Nîmes. In the second vehicle, there were two people. One of the occupants had to be freed and medically treated by the Smur. Both were also transported to the CHU.

Ten firefighters were engaged in the operation, which mobilized five vehicles.
