Un petit garçon de 6 ans, de nationalité française, est mort noyé ce dimanche 25 août dans la piscine d’un hôtel de Palma, en Espagne.

In Spain, the body of a six-year-old child was found in the swimming pool of a hotel in Palma. Emergency services were called around 5 p.m. this Sunday, August 25. Two ambulances from the Samu immediately went to the scene, but unfortunately, when they arrived, the boy was no longer breathing and attempts to resuscitate him failed to save him.

He was on vacation with his family

According to initial information from the Spanish media outlet El Nacional, the child, of French nationality, was on vacation with his family on the island, but it is unknown where they were at the time of the tragic accident. The National Police also went to the hotel to conduct a visual inspection of the drowning scene. The hotel staff and the lifeguards who were on duty at the time were interviewed in order to clarify the circumstances of the accident.

An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death. It is not yet known whether the child was alone in the pool when he drowned or whether the parents were present.
