Les joueurs du MHB étaient présents au stand Midi Libre of the Montpellier International Fair this Monday, October 14, before the other clubs in the city go there all week.
Before the arrival of the Gazelles of the BLMA this Tuesday (2:30 p.m.), of the MHSC with several former players and President Nicollin on Wednesday (3 p.m.) then those of the MHR with the presence of Bernard Laporte on Thursday (3 p.m.), the Montpellier Handball opened the ball of sportsmen at the Midi Libre stand of the Montpellier International Fair, Monday afternoon.
While their teammates are in Spain at Granollers, to play their second European League match this Tuesday, Stas Skube and Lucas Guigon answered questions from several supporters present on site for autographs and photos.
"We want a title"
"We want a title!", one of them calls out with a smile. “We've been chasing it for six or seven years and believe me we want it as much as you, replies the Slovenian centre-half. It's easy to say but a bit more complicated to do. Especially in France, where there are several of us who can do it. But I hope we'll put an end to it this season."
The opportunity for Skube to give news of his knee: "The rehabilitation is going well, I should be able to come back in five to six months. The race in January and maybe handball in March".
A very young professional intern with the MHB, Lucas Guigon was able to take advantage of the moment to describe his daily life shared between handball and studies to become a dentist: “It's a balance that I need. I need handball as much as I need to go to class. It's a dual course and fortunately the club, the university and my parents are there to support me”.
