Moscou vise des infrastructures ukrainiennes, Kiev cible la Crimée

Russia launched 35 attack drones and two guided missiles on Tuesday at energy and military infrastructure near the front line and in other Ukrainian regions, announced Ukrainian Air Force.

The Russian Defense Ministry, for its part, announced the destruction or interception of 21 Ukrainian drones fired towards the annexed Crimean peninsula and the Russian regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga and Tula, Russian news agencies report.

Ukrainian air defense systems destroyed 15 of 35 drones, the Air Force announced on Telegram.

Zaluzhny sacked ?

If the fighting continues on the front, tension is also at its height between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the commander-in-chief of the armies, General Valeri Zalouzhny.

According to information from the media The Kyiv Independent, Valeri Zalouzhny is on the verge of being sacked. After differences and tensions for several months with the president, the head of arms would therefore find himself in the hot seat, since Zelensky is thinking of an “overhaul of military command”, explains the magazine Géo based on Telegram channels.

However, no decree has yet been signed, but time should surely be running out for the General. "Zaluzhny and Zelensky met this evening. Sources close to Zalouzhny or well placed in the government told me that the dismissal would take place this evening. The presidential order has not been signed. The information generated powerful outrage. It could be reversed”, Olivier Caroll, correspondent for The Economist, said on X. 60~/p>

This affair must therefore be followed closely, to see if the Ukrainian president will really separate from his army chief.
