Due to the bad weather affecting Lozère, the prefect, in consultation with the departmental director of National Education services, and on orders from the mayors or the prefect, has decided to close primary schools and suspend school transport for the entire day of Thursday, October 17, 2024, in a south-eastern part of the department.

The municipalities concerned

Prévenchères, Pied-de-Borne, Altier, Villefort, Saint-André-de-Capcèze, Ventalon-en-Cévennes, Saint-Privat-de-Vallongue, Saint-Michel-de-Dèze, Le Collet-de-Dèze, Saint-Martin-de-Lansuscle, Gabriac, Sainte-Croix-Vallée-Française, Saint-Germain-de-Calberte, Moissac-Vallée-Française, Saint-Étienne-Vallée-Française.

Concerning the colleges in this sector, classes and school transport are also suspended.

The reception of boarding students has been maintained with the exception of the Collet-de-Dèze college which is completely closed.
