Bourrillon College launches a new exchange with an establishment in Dénia, Spain

Les élèves de 3e, en voyage scolaire, à Dénia.

Les étudiants lozériens se sont rendus il y a quelques semaines en Espagne. Ils attendent à présent la venue de leurs correspondants.

A school exchange prepared by the two Spanish teachers of the Henri-Bourrrillon college in Mende, Mrs Laurençot and Mrs Vernière, before the summer holidays, for the third-year students who are taking the European Language and Culture Spanish option, took place a few weeks ago in Dénia, in the province of Alicante.

Received at the IES Sorts de la Mar, the students followed hours of lessons in their correspondent's classes and actively participated in the language day by carrying out oral and written comprehension work.

Visit to Valencia

Living to the rhythm of the hot days of the Costa Blanca offered the possibility of a joint catamaran outing, a morning hike guided by the PE teacher on the Montgó, as well as a visit to Guadalest, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

Dénia being an hour from Valencia, the visit was essential for discovering the marine environment at the Oceanogràfic and the works of Calatrava at the City of Arts and Sciences.

The Spanish soon in Lozère

The historic city center of Valencia allowed everyone to stroll through the third city of Spain, discovering various styles architectural. The students gained a rich experience from this exchange which allowed for great encounters and are waiting for their correspondent to come and help them appreciate the specificities and originalities of Lozère, far removed from marine and coastal life.
