An investigation is underway after the discovery, this Friday, January 5, around 10:30 p.m.,   of the body of a woman aged around fifty, in an apartment, in the city center of Nîmes.

An investigation is underway after the discovery, this Friday, January 5, 2024, around 10:30 p.m., of the body of a 55-year-old woman, in a  apartment in downtown Nîmes.

Suspect in custody

The 52-year-old suspect, who had been called for help, was taken into police custody. According to initial findings, the victim and this man had drunk a lot.< /p>

Autopsy scheduled for Monday

This Saturday morning, the fifty-year-old had still been able to be heard by the investigators. The investigation is complicated. The autopsy scheduled for Monday January 8, 2024 should allow us to learn more about the circumstances of the victim's death.
