La Russie a bombardé accidentellement deux de ses villages situés dans la région frontalière russe de Belgorod, le samedi 27 janvier 2024.
This is the fourth time this month that Russia has accidentally bombed two of its villages. These were located in the Russian border region of Belgorod, according to independent Russian media Astra.
Insufficient training or fatigue ?
As reported by 7sur7.be, Russia reportedly sent two unguided FAB-250 bombs to its territory. The first fell on a farm in Postnikov and the second on a street in the village of Strelestkoje.
Nearly 150 civilians were evacuated within a 500 meter radius.
The cause of these incidents is unclear. It could be a procedural error in arming the planes or a pilot failure during the mission, according to the British Ministry of Defense.

"We can assume that it’s a combination of the two. The increasing frequency of these incidents probably indicates a certain level of fatigue among air and ground personnel on the Russian front", reports British intelligence which adds: "But we can also assume that this is proof of insufficient training".
