The Jeune Lance Sète society gathered its members and a few guests on the Place de l’Hospitalet in Sète this Sunday, June 30, for its annual party.

The Jeune Lance Sète festival took place this Sunday in a warm atmosphere on the Place de l’Hospitalet, the beating heart of the Quartier Haut. After the grand parade to the sound of oboes, the jousters and their guests gathered at the foot of the Madonna for a big meal, just before the tournaments and the majestic presentation of the trophies.
"We make sure that it is as friendly as possible", confided Cyril Antraigues, a member, at a time when several jousters must face injuries or illness.
Samy Abric, a friend of the company, was in the kitchen (like every year for the past four years) to prepare a paella calibrated for at least 200 people. Enough to give yourself momentum for the heavyweight tournaments in the afternoon.
