'A new beginning': UEFA unveils new Champions League anthem with some changes

Ahead of the start of the new format of the Champions League, UEFA unveiled the new anthem of the competition on Monday 17 September, with a few adjustments.

The group stages are over, replaced by a single pool of 36 teams, play-offs… The Champions League will kick off on Tuesday with the first six matches, before six more on Wednesday and Thursday.

And for this new era of the world's biggest club competition, UEFA, which organises the Champions League, unveiled the new anthem on Monday, which will be played before the start of each match.

A few more trumpet notes

But unlike the competition format, the body did not want to turn everything upside down and completely change its anthem that everyone knows. Only a few more trumpet notes have been added, as the video below can show.
