Judoka Évan Rodier, new black belt at the Mende Dojo club

He obtained this belt on January 28, 2024, in Mèze.

After approval by the national grades commission, Mendois judoka Évan Rodier has just been validated as a 1st Dan black belt in judo.

His journey began in September 2014, with the first license and the brown belt. In June 2022, he entered the black belt course, an exam including four units of values, technical kata, combat effectiveness and knowledge of refereeing. UV 1,2 and 4 are obtained during the 2022-2023 season. For UV3, effectiveness in combat, one hundred points are to be accumulated during competitions specific to the black belt, or during competitions with a championship grade relationship. van Rodier therefore accumulated his points over five competitions, scoring between ten and forty points.

He thus validated his UV3 on January 28, in Mèze and his belt was approved by the national commission on this occasion. He will baptize it on Saturday March 9, in Mèze, during the Occitanie cadets 1 and 2 division championship.
