A package delivered by drone to the Nîmes remand center and two men arrested by the police

This January 26, around 11 p.m., a supervisor from the Nîmes remand center surprised the delivery of a package by drone, to the Nîmes remand center . The supervisor was in his official accommodation and witnessed the parachute delivery of the package delivered, by a wire, to an inmate in his cell.

A crew from the anti-crime squad of the police station was alerted and was able to follow the drone to the two men, who were directing it, from outside the Nîmes remand prison. These two men fled rue André-Marquès and were arrested. The vehicle used by the two suspects was seized by the police and towed to the police station. The two suspects will have to explain themselves in court.
