A bull shark?

Two other people, teenage girls aged 15 and 17, were injured at another beach, Inlet Beach. One of the two was transported to hospital by helicopter, injured in the arm.

"It’is over a very short distance, it is likely that it is the same shark" , Walton County Sheriff's spokesman Corey Dobridnia told UsaToday. Based on the descriptions , the animal could be a bull shark, a species whose specimens can reach 3.40 meters in length.

Authorities closed public access to the Gulf of Mexico in Walton County Friday afternoon, and double red flags were flying at nearby beaches. Violators were subject to a fine of 500 dollars.
