Sport and connect. So much for the name of the next entrepreneurial challenge that 'hopes to organize& nbsp;la com'com Millau Grands Causses on the occasion of the third and next regional outdoor conferences organized in the city of gant by the regional tourism and leisure committee of&rsquo ;Occitanie, April 2 and 3, 2024. 

"This challenge is dedicated to companies and project leaders in the field of outdoor sports, validates Clément Grégoire, project manager &amp ;quot;Development and attractiveness" with the com'com who wishes to integrate this new meeting into the organization chart of these two days punctuated by conferences, round tables but also training.

Give visibility

"We will launch an application next, following which we will establish a pre-selection. The ten selected candidates will be invited to the territory and will be supported to defend their project. The three finalists will then have the chance to pitch their project in front of the professionals present during this new outdoor meeting in Millau."

"The idea is to give visibility to these projects among potential partners, territories interested in the solutions that could emerge, finishes Clément Grégoire who also takes advantage of the event to make the place a little more settled  – strong – of territory in outdoor sport – of "put a greater focus on Millau Grands Causses."

With an envelope of 10,700 euros, the challenge Sport and connect will be put to a vote – more precisely the subsidy allocated –  during the next community council. Finally, as for the winner, "he will win a prize of 1,500 euros" agrees Thierry Perez, vice-president in charge of economic development with the Millau Grands Causses community of communes.
