A support club for entrepreneurs arrives in Montpellier

Adie, as Association for the Right to Economic Initiative. This structure offers financial credits and supports individuals in launching their business. Four of them participated this Thursday, April 4, in the first edition of the Adie Club in Montpellier, an offer of collective support. This workshop, entitled "How to build a successful e-commerce site", allowed the beneficiaries present to be better armed in the face of online competition.

Welcomed to the Gazette Café by Adie (Association for the Right to Economic Initiative), four entrepreneurs benefited from a free digital workshop. They exchanged about their difficulties with digital, "so as not to remain isolated". Franck, a self-employed electrician, has "no online presence". As for Agathe, furniture upholsterer since "a few weeks", she created an Instagram account but has "no network yet".

For the workshop leader, Mathieu Marignier, "the big issue is referencing". This is what allows sites to be visible on search engines, which encourages clicks and therefore sales. The presenter presented entrepreneurs with tools allowing them to manage their website without writing a single line of code. The best known, "is WordPress".

Microcredits of "12 000 euros maximum"

L’Adie is an association which "supports and finances people who wish to launch their business", through microcredits. Established since 1996 in Occitanie, the organization is aimed at entrepreneurs who are not eligible for bank loans. The Montpellier branch has five employees and a &quot ;fifteen volunteers", according to Jean-Philippe Verdeau, a retiree who gives his time to the association.

Funding is provided "in the form of microcredits of up to 12 000 euros, which can complement loan loans. rsquo;honor of 3 000 euros maximum". Advisor to Adie de l’Hérault, Rayhanatou Bah "meets entrepreneurs, studies financing requests and accompanies". In 2022, 1,453 loans were granted in Occitanie.

Hodna Bouras, who is self-employed, received a loan for her professional certification. From this first workshop, the entrepreneur "learned many things and practical tools".

Cassandra Legrusley is a project manager at the association's headquarters. "As this is the first edition of Club Adie in Montpellier, I came from Paris". These events are organized on a local scale: "The public is different depending on the territory" explains Cassandra Legrusley, project manager.

Other appointments planned

Two meetings in Montpellier are planned for June 6 and October 10. The four entrepreneurs are already thinking about ideas for themes for the next meetings . Hodna Bouras suggests: "Develop your network perhaps ?"
