A tobacco shop victim of a robbery in Aspiran, near Clermont-l'Hérault: numerous cartons of cigarettes stolen

Two individuals armed with a handgun threatened the manager at closing time, Saturday March 9 around 7:30 p.m. The gendarmes from the Lodève research brigade opened an investigation.

The manager of a tobacco shop was the victim of an armed robbery, Saturday March 9 at closing time, in Aspiran, south of Clermont-l& ;#39;Hérault.

The merchant forced to open his reserve

It was around 7:30 p.m. when two individuals entered the business and threatened the merchant with a handgun and forced him to give them access to his reserve.

There, the criminals took away a large quantity of cartons of cigarettes as well as the 240 € of the cash fund. They did not use their weapon during the attack.

The gendarmes of the Lodève research brigade have opened an investigation.
