A weekend dedicated to astronomy

A weekend dedicated to observing the moon and the sky. DR.

Christian L’Habitant, amateur astronomer from Soubésien will host several astronomy evenings on the weekend of June 14, 15 and 16 on the Place de l’Aire in partnership with the’ rsquo;Ciel Mon Ami association. For him it will be a matter of relaying the international event entitled « On the Moon Again » (Encore la Lune) initiated in 2019 by the Société astronomique de France on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. The animation will begin, from 7 p.m., with an observation of the sun, around an exhibition of images of the sky and on the problem of light pollution. And at nightfall, observation of the Moon, the stars, the planets… All public, free.
