En Suisse, un restaurateur a racheté trois bars alors qu’il devait de l’argent à plusieurs de ses ex-employés. Ces derniers ont porté plainte.

Frederik G.* is a well-known figure in Switzerland in particular because he bought three bars while he was heavily in debt. According to the extract from the prosecution register of October’ ;nbsp;2023, cited by Blick, he owes more than a million francs to the authorities and other creditors.

Several companies he was involved in went bankrupt. Many current and former employees are still waiting for their salaries. But in the meantime, Frederik G took over three bistros in the city center of St. Gallen.

Victims testify

A former business partner, to whom the 59-year-old entrepreneur owes tens of thousands of francs, said anonymously to: "The fact that he is now taking over three bars as manager is absolute nonsense. I wonder why the authorities let this happen"

"I was kicked out of my apartment because he didn't pay me my salary. I could no longer pay the rent", said one victim. Fortunately, in the meantime, his salary was paid to him. The 48-year-old man is now employed in a restaurant and says he is satisfied with his new working conditions.

Another victim who worked under him between summer 2021 and spring 2022, revealed: "He knows how to speak very well and is quite manipulative". He owed her nearly 4,000 francs (4,129 euros).

Always apologies

The boss would always have found excuses."The bank was having problems, it’was her favorite excuse", recalls a 23-year-old victim. She now works in another establishment of restoration and feels happier. If its losses have since been written off, it maintains: "It’s not that difficult to send money to someone’ rsquo;a".

Another man is of the same opinion: "The salary always came late, he always had a ready excuse." Frederik G. had promised him a high salary when he recruited him to Ibiza as a mixologist. But once there, the 32-year-old Italian waited for his money from the first salary.

"I'm sorry"

Frederik G. presented his apologies to Blick . His company has in fact gone bankrupt even though the procedure has not yet been completed. He says he is ready to repay the money.

He blames the Covid pandemic in particular: "We started planning at the wrong time. I'm sorry this happened."

Is he the right person to take over three bistros ? "I have to have work", he replies.
