Accident between three cars on the A9 motorway: three injured, including a child, taken to Nîmes hospital

The accident occurred this Saturday, August 24, late in the morning, in the town of Nîmes.

The Gard firefighters intervened, this Saturday, August 24, at around 11:15 a.m., for a low-speed traffic accident involving three cars on the A9 motorway, near the town of Nîmes.

Significant resources mobilized

A detachment of a medicalized road rescue echelon composed of three ambulances, an extrication vehicle, a Gard firefighter command vehicle and around ten men were necessary to rescue the people involved in the accident.

The final report states that there were three injured people, including a child, all three of whom were transported in relative urgency to the Nîmes hospital. The Southern France Motorway Service and the national gendarmerie were also present at the scene of the intervention.
