Attention rappel produit. Des merguez des marques Affrais et Despi le charcutier sont rappelées après la découverte de lots potentiellement contaminés à la salmonelle, l'agent responsable de la salmonellose. 

Warning: dangerous product. If you have recently purchased merguez sausages in a supermarket or in certain butcher's chains, it is better to take a few minutes to check. Several references produced by the agri-food company "L’atelier Forézien du frais" are subject to recall procedures.

Merguez sausages from the Affrais and Despi le charcutier brands are being recalled because these batches are potentially contaminated with salmonella, the agent responsible for salmonellosis. The products concerned were marketed throughout France, in several major retail chains: notably by Grand Frais, Carrefour, Intermarché, Casino, etc. ~60/p>

Risk of diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, etc. ~60/h2>

If you have consumed these products and experience diarrhea, vomiting, headache or fever, consult your doctor. They generally appear 6 to 72 hours after ingestion. These are "symptoms may be more pronounced in young children, pregnant women, immunocompromised individuals and the elderly", according to the recall sheets.

Affrais brand merguez sold in bulk since May 22 by Grand Frais, Carrefour, Intermarché, Casino, Provenc’Halles and Boucherie Tinel. Lots: 143/9003, 144/9003 and 145/9003. If you purchased these products, do not consume them. Destroy them or return them to stores to get an exchange. Recall procedures will end on June 15.
