The double Olympic heavyweight champion (2012, 2016) has not lost since the quarter-final of the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Judoka Teddy Riner, 34, won the Antalya Grand Slam on Sunday against the Japanese Tatsuru Saito, 22, four months before the Paris Olympic Games.

Second Grand Slam victory

Having difficulty in the final, the double Olympic heavyweight champion (2012, 2016) still managed to continue after his victory at the Grand Slam in Paris in February. He has not lost since the quarter-final of the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Malonga and Tolofua win

A little earlier, Madeleine Malonga had also scored crucial points with a view to Olympic selection by winning the tournament in the category – 78 kg. Note the victory of Julia Tolofua in +78kg.
