After shots fired from a scooter at a car in Montpellier, perpetrators and victims are on the run

Les coups de feu ont été entendus vers 18 h 30, ce mercredi 13 mars, au sein de la cité Gély à Montpellier. Auteurs et victimes ont pris la fuite.

One or more occupants of a car were targeted, this Wednesday, March 13, around 6:30 p.m., in the Gély city in Montpellier, by two individuals who were riding a scooter. The latter shot them several times before fleeing. Like the victim(s)…

This is what a local resident said this Wednesday evening, around 6:40 p.m., when contacting the emergency police. Numerous police patrols therefore converged on the spot. Several 9 mm shell casings were found on site confirming the shooting.

Collateral Damage

A car, parked on rue Albert-Samain a stone's throw from rue Ronsard, was even discovered with the window on the passenger side broken. It also had bullet holes in the bodywork. However, no trace of blood was observed.

The research made it possible to identify the owner who was interviewed at the police station. Exonerated, he was released. The findings indeed confirmed that his vehicle had been the subject of collateral damage.

The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police.
