After the assassination of two prison officers in Eure: the blockade of the Nîmes remand center is renewed

The violence of the trauma does not seem to abate on the part of the prison guards, at the Nîmes remand center.

After the double assassination that occurred in Eure on Tuesday May 14 during the ambush of a cell van (during which two of their colleagues were bloodily killed- cold by criminals) the agents stationed in the only Gard prison decided at the call of the inter-union FO Justice/Ufap Pénitentiaire to renew, this Friday, May 17, their operation "Dead Prison".

Access authorized for a doctor and a nurse

Direct consequence: " no one or almost no one will enter or leave the establishment from 6 a.m., during the next 24 hours ", explained this Thursday 16  ;nbsp;May Sébastien Pages FO Justice delegate, contacted by telephone, specifying however that a nurse and a doctor would be authorized to enter the establishment.

According to David Dehaye of Ufap-Pénitentaire, "colleagues are now expecting solid commitments from the government, in writing, aimed at rapidly strengthening their safety in the exercise of their duties. A sine qua non condition for lifting the blockade of penitentiary establishments".
