The name was revealed on the occasion of the laying of the first stone this Friday March 29 in the Cambacérès district. The site will house Montpellier Business School, the Purple Campus training center, the headquarters of the CCI Hérault and the regional branch. Nearly 800 people attended the event.

Anima. This is how the site which will bring together Montpellier Business School, the CFA Purple campus, the CCI Hérault and the Occitanie branch in Cambacérès is now called. The name, which means "breath"in ancient Greek, was unveiled this Friday March 29 during the ceremony for laying the first stone. The entire Hérault economic world was in full force to witness this symbolic stage of a project which germinated ten years ago in the spirit of the company. André Deljarry. Honey flowed into the ears of the president of the CCI Hérault and MBS at the time of the speeches. Christelle Assié, deputy director of the Banque des Territoires, Jean-François Rezeau, president of the CCi Occitanie or even Carole Delga, president of the Occitanie Region, Frédéric Poisot, secretary general of the Prefecture, greeted in turn "his energy, his determination, his stubbornness, his ability to bring together". A state of mind thus summarized by the architect François Fontès: "Impossible is not Deljarry".

François Fontès designed the building

Anima, designed by architect François Fontès (selected from 122 applications) and built by the Tourre Sanchis group, will be structured around three buildings, over seven floors , and 28,000 m² of surface. The Higher School of Management (MBS) will occupy the largest part of 20,000 m², the Purple campus training center will extend over 4,000 m², the headquarters of the CCI Hérault on 2,000 m² and as much for the regional CCI branch. Located just opposite the Mendès-France high school, this campus will be adjoining the Halle Nova and the Crédit Agricole headquarters in the heart of the city's new economic district.

An investment of 107 M€

André Deljarry extended his thanks to the communities including the Region, which contributes 21 million euros; but also the Metropolis which carried out the revegetation of the site. He recalled that the 840 student accommodations would ultimately see the light of day on the ZAC République in the neighboring district of Port-Marianne. "The Delga, Mesquida, Delafosse pack is at your side", confirmed Renaud Calvat, representing the presidents of the Metropolis and the Department. The investment amounts to 107 M€ but the overall operation weighs four times more when taking into account student accommodation and the real estate project carried out by Foncière du Crédit Agricole and GGL on the current Alco site. Enough to illustrate the good health of the Hérault economic fabric which will pass the threshold of 100,000 companies in April.

Eiffage in charge of construction

It is the Eiffage company which is responsible for the construction of this "economic vessel of the territory" as described by its representative Mathieu Reynier. A total of 50 companies and 600 employees will take part in the project subject to specific clauses in terms of salary inclusion. Everyone was pleased to associate "youth and business" on the same site. "This corresponds to my vision of the territory, welcomed Carole Delga. An investment in human intelligence and youth, an exemplary project in terms of ecological transition…" "The road was long", recognized André Deljarry. Needless to say, it was worth it.
