Markets
With the month of April, here is the return of the daily food and clothing market at Grau d’Agde, on the Place des Mûriers, all morning.

Guided tours

Guided tours of the city are resuming with the Cap d’Agde Méditerranée tourist office. Wednesday April 24, set out to discover the collections of the Agathois Jules-Baudou museum, with departure from the tourist office, 1, rue du 4-Septembre, at 2:30 p.m.

Media Library

The media library offers children aged 13 and over with good graphic skills the opportunity to participate in an introduction to digital manga "The Paris 2024 Olympic Games", from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ;nbsp;30, using an iPad and the Procreate app. This is in order to take part in a competition which will be judged next June; from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., pop-up workshop with Arno Célerier (from 7 years old).

Museums

During the school holidays, the Agde museums offer a whole series of activities for young audiences. This Wednesday, at the Agathois Jules-Baudou museum (5, rue de la Fraternité), a workshop will take place to teach children to make a traditional southern pastry themselves, with, to finish, sharing and tasting of ;a friendly and delicious snack! From 7 years old.

Fishing
Visits to the Belvedere of the Criée du Grau d’Agde have resumed on the banks of the Hérault. With, from Monday to Friday, two meetings offered to the public: the first on “Behind the scenes of fishing”, from 10 a.m. to 11 am  (7 €, 6 € for 7-11 year olds, free for – 4 year olds), with the possibility of a seafood tasting immediately (15 €, 14 € for 4-11 year olds, not recommended for – 4 year olds); the second visit concerns “The auction at the Criée”, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (7 €, 6 & ;euro; for ages 4-11, free for ages 4).

Exhibition (1)

The tourist office in the heart of the town, place de la Belle Agathoise, offers an exhibition on the Bois de Riquet, an archaeological site discovered in Lézignan-la-Cèbe in 2008, in a quarry of basalt, and which contains remains a million years old. It is visible free of charge until June 29, from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Exhibition (2)
“Vegetable entrelac, marvelous fibers” : this is the title of the exhibition by the artist Aïdée Bernard who, for around twenty’ years, pays homage to plants through his paper creations. An exhibition visible at the Espace Molière until Saturday May 4, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Heritage (1)
A remarkable example of eclectic architecture from the end of the 19th century, listed as a Historic Monument since 1996, Château Laurens was created in 1898 thanks to the boundless imagination of its owner, Emmanuel Laurens. A non-conformist character, in love with modernism, he built his ideal palace drawing inspiration from emerging artistic movements, technical innovations and orientalist influences, evidence of his numerous travels.

Heritage (2)
It is possible to visit the city of Agde and the surrounding towns thanks to private tours. At the bend of several streets, squares, the opportunity to discover the city built in basalt stone. With family or friends, the “Captain Game” You will discover Cap-d’Agde differently with its two fun 3 km routes. Find the twelve terminals distributed around the port of Cap-d’Agde and punch your answers. Free.

Pétanque

On Wednesdays and Saturdays, Boule du Cap organizes a doubles competition at 2:30 p.m., on the Jean-Miquel bowling alley (2 €)& nbsp;; At Grau d’Agde, you will meet at 2 p.m., like every Wednesday and Friday, with a triplet competition on the seafront bowling alley (2 €).

Walks
Baludik is the name of the application that you can download to discover the Agathois territory through treasure hunts and sound walks. Four themes are proposed: “The quest of the king's corsair”, in connection with the story of the Agathois corsair Claude Terrisse, “The beauty of Agathé Tyché&rdquo ;, to find traces of the city's Greek, Roman, Visigothic, religious or consular past, “The adventures of Gabi the Gabian in search of sardines” for children and finally the sound walk “Agathé Tyché and Arauris for sports enthusiasts”, a 9 km route to Notre-Dame de l’Agenouillade.
