An 18-year-old young man falls 8 meters into the void during an urban exploration session

During an Urbex session in a disused hangar, a young 18-year-old boy fell 8 meters this Sunday, April 14, 2024.
The events took place this Sunday at around 6:30 p.m. in an abandoned hangar in May-sur-Orne, south of Caen, in Calvados.
Several fractures to the shoulder and ribs
The 18-year-old young man was practicing an urbex session (urban exploration) with several of his classmates when he fell. He was on an 8 meter high footbridge when he fell in a vacuum, reports Ouest France.
Seriously injured and suffering from several fractures to the shoulder and ribs, "his vital prognosis is not engaged", reassured the gendarmerie, called to the scene of the accident, according to Actu.
L’urbex (contraction of urban exploration) or urban exploration in French, is a practice consisting of exploring forbidden, disused and/or difficult to access places, such as factories, warehouses or houses.
