An enigmatic 0 euro note will be sold in France on February 11... we tell you everything about this limited edition

A new 0 euro note will go on sale in February before being issued next July. 

Some people will soon be able to have a new note in their wallet. A special 0 euro note will be put into circulation next July. It will only be printed in 3,000 copies according to Le Journal du Geek.

Purple in color, it will represent June 6, 1944, the date of the landing in Normandy, and will celebrate the "80 years of the Liberation of France" after the Second World War, details Capital. It is therefore not an official currency but a commemorative work. 

On sale February 11

These notes will be sold on February 11, 2024 by a collective specializing in this type of sale, Euro Banknote Memory. 

The three thousand copies will be numbered from 000001 to 003000 and will be on sale between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in Isle, in Haute-Vienne, as part of the 21st Collectors' Show with the principle of & ;quot;first come, first served", specifies Capital.

What symbols ?

This 0 euro note contains many symbols referring to the Second World War. Among these symbols, the famous poster "To all the French" calling on citizens to resist the Nazi occupiers and signed by De Gaulle or even the representation of the Landing itself and the parade on the Champs-Elysées during the Liberation, details the website of the ;weekly.

A real craze exists around these rare pieces. The 3,000 tickets should go very quickly.
