Anger of farmers: a difficult day on the roads of Gard with a blockage in Alès and on the secondary network

The agricultural anger movement that began this Thursday, January 25 in the Gard has new repercussions on the secondary road network and on the A9 and A 54 motorways. From this Monday, January 29, in the morning, it is the ring road of & #39;Alès which is very strongly impacted by blockages. Several hundred trucks are stopped due to a farmers' blockade, private vehicles can pass.

This Monday, the highways A9 and A54 are still closed to traffic. The Gard prefecture provides these details:  A9 closed from Orange to Gallargues in both directions;  A54 closed from Nîmes-Ouest to Nîmes-Garons in both directions.

Secondary network

The secondary network is very impacted this Monday morning.

There is thus a significant blockage at Alès at the roundabout of the Bagnols-sur-Cèze road axis D60/D6 and at the Leclerc roundabout axis D60/Route d’Uzes; at Pont-St-Esprit at the Europe roundabouts, the southern gate and Saint-Etienne-des-Sorts .

Disturbances are noted on the N113 on the axis Aimargues-Gallargues, on the D6086 on the ;rsquo;axis Remoulins-Marguerittes, while slowdowns are noted in Vauvert. Between Marguerittes and Bezouce, a bus tried to turn around, which added additional difficulties.
